FAIR TRADE GHANA NETWORK ORGANISES A WOMEN EMPOWERMENT TRAINING FOR MEMBERS OF ACCOPS & AMOPPA ORGANIC PRODUCERS AND EXPORTERS LTD

Fair Trade Ghana Network organised an empowerment training for thirty three (33) members (24 women and 9 men) of ACOPPS and AMOPPA Organic producers and exporters ltd in the Central region of Ghana on the 22nd of July 2022. The aim of this training was to empower the women to take up leadership roles and for the men to support in this empowerment drive.

Participants were taken through the concept of fairtrade, the domains of empowerment, and women in leadership. The training was very interactive and was largely successful. During the training, the executive board members of the cooperative reiterated their resolve to empower the women to take up leadership roles by creating portfolios specifically for women.
