FAIR TRADE GHANA NETWORK ORGANISES ITS 6TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING.

Fair Trade Ghana Network held its 6th Annual General meeting on the 28th and 29th of November 2023 at the Bethel Heights Hotel. In attendance were representatives from the various member organizations, RESCONI, the Ghana Civil-society Cocoa Platform, the Association of Ghana Industries, Fairtrade Africa, Agronomist and veterinarians without Borders, ABA Associates, among others.

The event which commenced at 10:00am had the chairman of the occasion Mr. Edward Akapire, Head of Region of Fairtrade Africa providing the keynote address. Minutes of the previous meeting was read and the necessary corrections effected. Mr. David Attigah of ABA Associates-FTGN’s Auditors read the accounts of the Network to the members. The president of FTGN provided an update of the activities implemented over the last one year. A committee was setup to review the constitution of the Network and to report within the first quatre of 2024. The second day of the AGM saw the election of five new executive board members with Mr. Emmanuel Sarpong of Asunafo North Cocoa Cooperative as the new president of FTGN to stir affair for the next two years.
