In attendance were members of the old and new executive board, staff, representatives from ABOCFA Cocoa Cooperative Society, Volta River Estates Limited, and Fairtrade Africa. Dr. Jonathan Lanidune, the programme Manager for Fairtrade Africa chaired the occasion and swore-in the new executives. He encouraged the new team to use the achievements of their predecessors as a stepping stone to achieve more within the next two years for the betterment of the Network. Mr. Emmanuel Sarpong, the newly sworn-in president, on behalf of the new executives thanked members present and the chairperson for the honour and promised that, the new executives will continue to push forward the agenda of the Network. The Network’s Coordinator, Mr. Felix Ayambire provided a brief update on the EQUITY 2 Project which is scheduled to end in March 2024.
