There were presentations by the coordinators of the different Networks focusing on the history, evolution, functions, main challenges, and strategies for the mobilization of resources. The platforms also presented their annual plans and provided details on the extent of realization of these plans. Strategies on how to keep the Network sustainable was drawn. Discussions on the closure of EQITY 2 and the start of EQUITY 3 were made.

REFLECTION WORKSHOP ON STRATEGIES FOR THE INSTITUTIONAL AND FINANCIAL SUSTAINABILITY OF FAIR TRADE PLATFORMS SUPPORTED BY THE EQUITY PROGRAM IN COTE D’IVORIE
From 9th to 11th October, 2023, representatives of the national platforms of Ghana, Togo, Benin, Cote D’voire, and Burkina Faso attended a workshop organized by the EQUITY 2 implementing partners; Agronomist and Veterinarians without borders (AVSF) and Commerce Equitable France (CEF) at the BNB Hotel in Abidjan, Coccody. The aim of this workshop was to provide a platform for all the national Networks to learn, discuss and share knowledge and ideas on the ways to make the National Networks sustainable.
