Fair Trade Ghana Network

Our objectives are: 1. To promote cooperation amongst producer organizations in Ghana whose products are certified by Fairtrade, WFTO, Fair for Life, other recognized labels, as well as other organizations whose products that are fairly traded and wish to be certified.

2. To build and operate a strong, proactive, efficient and sustainable network through exchange of information, knowledge, experience, expertise and capacity building for the organization’s officers and members.
3. To establish and maintain close ties with other organizations that believe in the values of fair trade.
4. To secure and financially manage all funds which may include donations, grants, members’ contributions and subscriptions for the benefit of the network.
5. To encourage sound business and professional practice, stimulate awareness of environment, biodiversity and socio-economic issues related to the members and facilitate the provision of, where necessary, technical advice, consultation services and any other services as may be incidental to the furtherance of the principal objects of the organization.
6. To facilitate programmes such as symposium, seminars, and advocacy forums for development of the network, its member organization and Fairtrade in general.
7. To obtain affiliations to national bodies and institutions and establish strategic alliances and partnerships and be part of activities aimed at achieving the objectives of the organization.
